How do I book a freelancer?
1. In order to book freelancers, you will need to sign up or log into your BeMyFreelancer account
2. You can search for freelancers through Find a Freelancer
3. Enter the following details for us to provide you with the best options:
a. Postcode
b. Date
c. Time
d. Price Range
e. Categories
f. Location
g. Qualifications
h. Packages
i. Virtual Sessions
4. Freelancers’ profiles will appear based on your selection. You are able to amend your search at any time.
5. Choose a freelancer and you will be directed to their profile
There are 3 ways you can book a freelancer.
Option 1 – Review the freelancers’ skill sets and select, Make a booking.
a. Title - Enter the name for your job
b. Description - Tell us what you need done
c. Location - Where do you need it done?
d. Date and Time - When do you need it done?
e. Budget - What is your budget for this job? (This will be used as a guide by our freelancers)
f. Is this an ongoing session? – Let us know if you would like to book multiple sessions, then build your schedule (Your budget entered prior is per session).
g. Attachments - Add an attachment that could assist your freelancer to complete this booking (optional)
h. Billing Method – Select a payment option and enter your Credit Card details. We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard. We use Stripe: an online payment processing platform (more information can be found at https://stripe.com. There is also an option to save your payment details for future bookings. *note payments are only charged after a job has been booked.
i. Submit your booking – A booking confirmation will be emailed to your account.
Option 2 – Review the freelancers’ packages and select, Book Package.
a. Title - Enter the name for your job
b. Description - Tell us what you need done
c. Location - Where do you need it done?
d. Date and Time - When do you need it done?
e. Attachments - Add an attachment that could assist your freelancer to complete this booking (optional)
f. Billing Method – Select a payment option and enter your Credit Card details. We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard. e. Attachments - Add an attachment that could assist your freelancer to complete this booking (optional)

Can I book more than one freelancer?
Yes, you are able to book as many freelancers to fulfil your requests pending availability.
How do I re-book a freelancer?
When you log in to your profile select My Freelancers which will direct you to a page of all your previous freelancers. View the freelancers’ profile and re-book
How far in advance can I book a freelancer?
You are able to book as far in advance pending availability and the discretion of the freelancer.
What is an ongoing session?
An ongoing session allows you to book up to 10 sessions at once. You can cancel at any time (review our cancellation policy).
How do I book an ongoing session?
On Find a Freelancer page there is an option available to book freelancers on an ongoing basis.
a. Select Yes or No to book multiple sessions
b. Select how many sessions you would like to book
c. Build your schedule with a date, time and duration for your selected number of sessions. You can select a different date, time and duration for each session pending your freelancer’s availability.
d. This option is also available when you Post a Job
What happens after I book my freelancer?
a. Your freelancer will receive a notification of your request
b. You will meet the freelancer at the selected date, time and location
c. Freelancer will select Job Completed
d. You will then Release Payment
e. Payment will be released to the freelancer upon completion
Why should I post a job?
Posting a job will allow you to connect with many freelancers who can bid/negotiate on the job at a budget which you have selected. This option could also be beneficial for a job which is specific and not outlined on the website. Posting a job and receiving offers is completely free on BeMyFreelancer however there will be a service fee applied when a freelancer is confirmed.
How do I post a job?
When posting your job please make sure you are clear in your description, time and budget as this will help freelancers know whether they have skills and abilities to complete your request.

2. Select Post a Job
3. Select Post a Job and fill out the following details:
a. Title
b. Description of what you need done
c. Outline your budget, this will be used as a guide by our freelancers
d. Location, where do you need it done (address)
e. Date and Time
f. There is also an option to book a freelancer on an ongoing basis
i. Select Yes or No to ongoing session
ii. How many sessions you would like to book
iii. Build your schedule with date and time under various sessions. You can select a different date and time for each session pending freelancers’ availability
g. Select which portal best suits your job

How far in advance can I post a job?
You are able to post a job as far in advance pending availability and the discretion of the freelancer

When posting your job please make sure you are clear in your description, and add your time and budget as this will help freelancers know whether they have skills and abilities to complete your request.
Can I turn my job into an ongoing booking?
Yes, but you must complete a new booking and selecting date and time for up to 10 sessions
What happens after I post a job?
Once your job is posted, our trusted freelancers can make offers to help you complete your request. You have the flexibility to review offers and pick which one is right for you. When you accept an offer, you will be able to communicate with the freelancers via private message to arrange further details.
What if I get no offers for my job?
If you did not receive any offers on your job, you can re-post to see if any freelancers can help you get your job done. You can also contact a freelancer directly by:
1. Logging in to your profile and go to Find a Freelancer tab with your request; Beauty Salon, Fitness Centre and Massage Parlour
2. To search the BeMyFreelancer database you will be provided with a range of options to narrow down your search and you will need to enter the following details:
a. Postcode
b. Date
c. Price Range
3. Freelancers’ profiles will appear based on your selection. You are able to amend your selection anytime
4. Choose a freelancer and you will be directed to their profile
Can I contact a freelancer before booking a job?
You can only contact a freelancer once your request has been assigned. This allows you to exchange contact details with the freelancer and arrange what is required for your request to be completed
How do I contact my freelancer?
When a job has been assigned you can contact the freelancer with the following steps:
1. Go to My Bookings
2. Select freelancer
3. Select Message on Booking Form
4. Freelancer will receive a notification of the message
Why should I contact my freelancer?
You should contact the freelancer to exchange contact details and arrange details of your request. This could also be a good opportunity for freelancers to answer any questions which you may have
How do I contact my freelancer after the job has been completed?
1. Log into your profile
2. Go to My Bookings
3. Select Completed Tab
4. On the Completed Tab you will be able to message the freelancer. It also allows you to Book Again
5. You can only contact the freelancer for 24 hours after the job has been completed
Why does the message thread automatically close?
Message Thread will only last for 24 hours after the job has been completed. This is to ensure we meet our Privacy Policy obligations. You can view our Privacy Policy
My freelancer is late, what should I do?
If your freelancer is late, you can contact them through the Booking Form to get an update on their ETA
Should I give my freelancer my contact information?
Yes, this will help freelancers to get in touch with you. If you do not feel comfortable giving your contact information you have the option to communicate to them through the Booking Form function
How much does it cost to book a freelancer?
Customers will be charged 10% booking fee
Why do you need my credit card?
BeMyFreelancer does not support cash payments and all transactions should go through BeMyFreelancer which only accepts Visa, MasterCard and Debit Cards. We use Stripe: an online payment processing platform (more information can be found at https://stripe.com. There is also an option to save your payment details for future bookings. *note payments are only charged after a job has been booked.
How do I pay my freelancer?
After your job is completed, it is time to pay your freelancer for the great work they have done.
All payments on BeMyFreelancer go through our payment portal, here are the steps:
1. Freelancer will confirm the job has been Completed
2. Customer will select Release Payment
3. Payment will leave your account and arrive in freelancers’ nominated account in 3-5 business days
What is the BeMyFreelancer service fee?
When you book a job, you will see freelancers’ rates. This is inclusive of the 20% BeMyFreelancer service fee. The service is 20% of the total price you pay for the job
My invoice is incorrect, what should I do?
If there is an issue with your invoice, please contact the freelancer through the Booking Form to try and resolve the issue. If you cannot come to an agreement or it has been more than 24 hours, contact us and provide the:
1. Booking number
2. Freelancer name
3. What is incorrect on the invoice
My booking was cancelled, why was I charged?
If you cancel a job within 48 hours of it start-time, you may be charged a non-refundable, one-hour cancellation fee according to our Cancellation Policy.
If you have been charged and your job does not fall under our cancellation fee policy, please contact Customer Support and please provide the:
1. Job number
2. Freelancer name
3. Reason for cancellation
Can I edit my booking/job after it has been accepted?
Yes you can edit your booking after it has been accepted:
1. Log into your BeMyFreelancer profile
2. Go to your Booking Form
3. Select Request a Change; you can request to change the date, time duration and budget
What is BeMyFreelancer’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel a booking at any time (48 hours’ notice is required). If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of its scheduled start time you may be charged a cancellation fee.
1. We require 48 hours as it will provide freelancers time to book another booking
2. If the cancellation is initiated by the freelancer you won’t be charged a fee

How do I cancel a booking?

My freelancer cancelled, what should I do?
We are deeply sorry your freelancer did not fulfil your request and cancelled your booking. If you still need your request completed, you can find a new freelancer through Find a Freelancer.
My booking needs to be cancelled but some work has already been completed, what should I do?
If some work has been completed, you and the freelancer will need to come to an agreement of an amount to be invoiced. If you are not able to come to an agreement our Customer Support team can help, you will need to provide:
1. Job number
2. Freelancer name
3. Details on what has been completed, including how much time it took

Reviews and ratings are an influential part of our journey and will help:
1. Boost loyalty towards customers and freelancers
2. Better understand our customers and freelancers and improve service level
3. Allow Freelancers to have a voice and create customer loyalty
How do I leave a review and rating?
After a booking has been invoiced by the freelancer, you can leave a rating of your experience with your freelancer on a scale of 1 star to 5 stars and leave a comment (higher rating highlights a positive experience where as a lower rating highlights a negative experience).
What are the review and rating guidelines?
1. Be transparent, honest and detailed
2. Do not post misleading reviews
3. Leaving out negative reviews can also be misleading
4. Provide constructive feedback
5. Do not post anything inappropriate. All reviews should be in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct. BeMyFreelancer reserves the right to delete reviews if we deem them as:
a. Online bullying
b. Harassment
c. Inappropriate comments (racially or sexually orientated)
d. Use of profanity
e. Breach of privacy
6. Any review about the website itself should be sent to our Customer Support

My freelancer would like to take photos for their portfolio?
Freelancers will need to seek approval from customers to take photos for their portfolio. If a photo has been uploaded without your knowledge contact our Customer Support team and we will take it down from the site, you will need to provide:
1. Job number
2. Freelancer name
How do I add photos to my BeMyFreelancer photo gallery?
1. Log into your BeMyFreelancer profile
2. Select Freelancer Hub
3. Scroll down to Portfolio Images
4. Click the Add
5. You can add as many images as you wish
How do I share my BeMyFreelancer photo gallery with social media?
1. Log into your BeMyFreelancer profile
2. Select your name on top right hand of the page
3. Select Account Settings
4. You can enter your social media links which will be added onto your profile
I would like to report my freelancer?
At BeMyFreelancer we take trust and safety of our freelancers and customers very seriously. If the customer has violated the Code of Conduct & Trust & Safety, you can report the freelancer by filling out Report and Abuse Form by:
1. Selecting the Booking Form
2. Scroll down to Booking Options
3. Select Report This Booking
4. You will need to provide “why do you want to report this booking”
5. Select Report
My freelancer has reported me, what happens now?
If you have been reported by a freelancer, we will undergo our own investigation and get in touch with you, we will provide you time to respond to freelancer’s report. If our investigation finds you were in violation of our Code of Conduct & Trust and Safety we may reserve the right to deactivate your account.

How do I verify my account?
For added security you will be required to verify your mobile number and email address.
Mobile Number:
1. We will send you a text message on your selected mobile number
2. Select Send Code
3. Enter verification code
4. Submit
5. Green tick means the mobile is verified
6. If you change or update your mobile number you will need to verify again
7. If you did not receive the Code, you can select Resend code
Email Address:
1. We will send you a verification email to your selected email address
2. You will need to go into your inbox and select Verify Email. If the email does not arrive soon, check your junk/spam folder
3. If you change or update your email address, you will need to verify again
4. If you did not receive an email, you can select Resend Email Verification
